Onboard data networks
We organise connections, cabinets and network equipment for the devices included in the project. We review cable routes, maintenance access and environmental conditions before selecting materials and locations.
SPECIALIST ENVIRONMENTS / MARINE
Communications infrastructure for vessels and marine facilities. We plan network points, WiFi coverage and video surveillance according to usage areas and working conditions.
Agreed scope · Planned installation · YMANT backing

Cabins, communal areas and technical spaces have different connectivity needs. We study the layout, routes and existing equipment to define a network that can be clearly maintained and expanded.
Materials, checks and deliverables are specified in the proposal.
We organise connections, cabinets and network equipment for the devices included in the project. We review cable routes, maintenance access and environmental conditions before selecting materials and locations.
A vessel's layout and materials affect the signal. We plan access points by area and check the agreed coverage. Crew, guest and device networks can be separated according to usage needs.
We define the areas to view, lighting conditions, camera locations and recording and access needs. The project specifies retention, permissions and protection measures. Installation must respect people's privacy and the conditions applicable to the intended use.
We agree access, vessel availability and coordination with the owner, shipyard or technical manager. Before work begins, we review the project's material and mounting requirements. Navigation or maritime safety systems are excluded unless specifically scoped.
Vessel type, port, areas to cover and available equipment.
Routes, WiFi coverage, cameras, recording and mounting conditions.
Agreed tests, connection labelling and documentation handover.
No. WiFi distributes the connection within the vessel. Internet access depends on an external service, such as a port, mobile or satellite connection. Procurement and integration are assessed separately.
Yes. Logical separation and access policies can be planned according to equipment and needs. These are specified in the agreed design and configuration.
We review equipment, compatibility, cabling and coverage to assess what can be reused and what should be replaced. The entire installation should not be assumed suitable without checking it.
Vessel or installation type, port and available dates, drawings if available, coverage areas and approximate number of cameras or connections. We confirm scope and availability after reviewing the information.
HOW WE WORK
01 / COMPLETE PROJECT
We plan networks, WiFi and CCTV by area, with agreed access and installation conditions.
02 / SPECIALIST CAPABILITY
We join the installation, expansion or testing of the planned onboard infrastructure.
DISCUSS YOUR PROJECT
Tell us the vessel type, port, areas needing networking or WiFi and planned cameras. We will review availability and scope with you.
